Save as

For some reason I'm not able to save my XL Spreadsheets to
Microsoft
Excel Workbook (*.XLS) it is not offered in the pull down
window as a
Save As option. Therefore when I email a spreadsheet the
person on the
other end cannot open. My Operating system is WinME.
Everything I try to save
is XLA. I reloaded Professional and still could not see a
XLS option. Also I bought this software separate.

No other options at all under File>Save As>File Type?

Try Tools>Options>Transition "Save Excel Files As"

What are you set for there?

Change to "Microsoft Excel Workbook"
