save as xlr

is there any plug-in for excel that makes it possible to save a file in works
(8.0) format (*.xlr)
 
I don't use MSWorks, but can't MSWorks open early versions of excel files
(*.xls)? It may not be able to open the latest .xls version (or maybe it
can???), but a couple of tests and you'll know for sure.

And I thought that MSWorks can open .wks files. Excel can save in this Lotus
123 format, too.
