Save as pull-down path

We are currently running Outlook 2007 as part of the Office Professional 2007
Suite. In 2003, when you went to save as and used the pull-down at the file
name you got just names, not paths. Is there a way to go back to just the
names? When we select a name that is close to what we want it moves us to the
pathed location. Our paths are complicated so it is a pain to have to
navigate back.

No, that cache is provided by Windows.
When you press the down button with the mouse, you'll get the cache.
When you type a few letters and then press the down button on your keyboard,
you'll get a list of similar names in the current folder.
