Using Access XP.
Is it possible, and if so how, to save an entire Access
Database as another file format such as Foxpro, DBase. We
know how to save an individual table but not the entire
database. This is needed in order to e-mail through a
client firewall that block .mdb files.

Thank you in advance.

No, you can't save a .mdb file as some other database format. However, you
can, in Windows Explorer, rename the file to YourDatabaseName.bak. You will
probably receive a warning that this may cause the file to not work
properly. You should be able to email the .bak file as long as your
recipients ISP will allow files of the size of the one you are sending.

If the file is too big, you can rename it as Lynn suggests below and THEN
zip the file. Most firewalls will allow this. On the other end, they will
have to unzip the file, then change the extension back to .mdb.

have the file zipped.. or change its extension name or
if you're using outlook.... get outlook attachment
security where you can specify which one's not to be
blocked...

i have the same problem before receiving mdb attachments...
