Hi,
When I save a presentation as a web page, in opening in a browser the areas
around the slide in the browser are black. How can I change this into white?

Also is there a way to tell powerpoint to open a hypelink in a new window so
when
viewed and shut down it goes back to the original page.

Many thanks

Go to File > Save As Web Page. Click on the Tools icon and then "Web Page
Options". If you check Navigation Controls you can change the colors used in a
limited fashion. Then click on Cancel twice and go to File > Preview as Web
Page to see what your choice will look like. If you set the color to
"Presentation colors" and then uncheck the Navigation Controls box, the
background color in your Color Scheme will be used.

Thank you. Is there a way to instruct the hyperlinks to open a new window
when saved as a web page.

Thank you

What are you hyperlinking to? If the hyperlink is to another slide, it will
show in the same browser window.

Hi Sonia,

The hypelink is to another presentation in the same folder that has been
saved as a web page. In the main presentaion there is a hyperlink to this
external file. When you
click on it it opens this external file in the browser. When you close this
it closes everything and the only way is to start the menu of the main
presentstion.

The main menu has a series of hypelinks which go to a number of
presentations all
saved as web pages. I want the menu to open these external files in a new
brouser window so when you shut them down the main menu is still thee.

Many thanks for your help
