satellite connection

We live in an area to get dsl we will need to get s satellite. Are they
worth the money. We now have a dial up connection. Also is xp set up for
satellite?

You can use dial-up, Dsl, cable connections.
DSL connection is faster. Cable is fastest. (AFAIK).
XP will connect in any of the above connections.
