Hi all,

Just bought a SATA HDD 250 GB with USB /Casing/Power.
My Computer is pretty old , P4 1.5MHZ. Running on WInXP

When i plug in the HDD USB into the computer.
There isnt any response.

Is it becos of unavailable of USB 2.0 in the computer?

Check in Device Manager to see if you have USB listed.

Nope, it should warn you that it will go much faster with USB 2.0

You wont like the speed even if you can get it to work.

Best to add a USB 2 card, they dont cost much.
