sata hard drive / computer bios

I have never seen the answer to this anywhere...sata hard drives in
the computer. There is a Bios setting, 32 bit transfer, should this be
enabled?
LAtency timer, I think is set to 32, should this be any different? I did
look for answers at Bios information websites but none mention Latency
Timer.
 
Some of those Bios Settings are esoteric and have really very little
effect on real world
operation. Default is usually advisable.
