It's not outdated, and the author recommends against trying to use
SATA optical drives with the A8N. He says there are still problems
with the drivers.
Nevertheless, I posed the same question on this forum and received
replies from users who HAVE installed SATA burners (Plextor) that are
reportedly working normally.
