Sasser Worm

Several months ago when the Blaster Worm was running
rampant I installed a firewall in my computer. Am I still
vulnerable to the Sasser Worm?

The firewall does offer protection, but you should still install
the necessary patch, on the off chance that the firewall fails or is
turned off.

Did you have any trouble downloading the patch from the
web site?

I have had nothing but problems trying to download the
patch (sp1 a).

I would like to know how many others are having problems
with this, and why the only remedy offered by microsoft
is to buy a cd to download.

This is a flaw in their system and they should be held
accountable, and to think they are trying to profit from
their inadequate programing is ludicrous.

SP1a is not a patch, it is a Service Pack.
