Help!

ok here's the problem
I get a wavy look to my screen
like something's interfering with it
only happens from time to time but enough to call it bad

I bought a new Antec PSU 430 Watt

changed all the 80mm case fans (tried unhooking them to)

pluged the computer into a separate plug and still the same

can't find anything on the net about it

Help please

Thanks
Fred

Do you use powercable-adapter that came with the card, or have you
plugged free "floppy"-powercable from psu directly to the card ? My
"waves" became less noticeable when i removed powercable adapter.

When i changed my monitor to the DVI-connector (with adapter) waves
disappeared altogether.

I had the exact same problem with my 9500 Pro. Tried everything,
disconnected all power cables except hard drive and the card, thinking maybe
the power wasn't sufficient, but that wasn't it. I tried it on its own
power cable, tried different drivers, and finally tried it in another
computer. No help. I had to RMA the card. Replaced it with a 9700
because the reatailer was out of stock on 9500 Pros, and presto, no more
wavy lines!
