Sanskrit in help and support

I am not sure what I did wrong but as of late my online help is in sanskrit.
Seeing that I can't understand the language I would like to change it back
to English. Tried regional and language settings but no joy.

Hi Thomas,

Did you install a language pack as of recent? See if a System Restore
rollback helps.

No, I didn't install a language pack. I also have the problem that I cannot
do a system restore, I recently had to go through the steps of deactivating
and reactivating the system restore as mentioned in an earlier post. I am
located in India, and this is mentioned in the regional settings, but
changing this setting and rebooting hasn't helped.

Thanks, did just go through all the lines. Only change: the scheme is now
blue intead of read, the info is till in hindi or sanskrit
