I recently purchased a Samsung ML-1740 Laser printer, mostly because
it was cheap and I need a garden variety printer for some fairly high
volume stuff I have coming up. The problem is, I can't seem to find a
retail site (web or bricks & mortar) (Canada) that sells a
refilled/recycled laser cart for these printers. Anyone have a
location or web site?

We offer the cartridge (it is special order) and have the refill kits
as well:

I just bought alegitimate Samsung cart at an only slightly higher price by
being patient. Office Depot dropped a $15 off $75 or more coupon in my
mailbox making the purchase price $65 (list $80)--and no incompatibility
problems.

However, if you offered me a $60 price on a Lexmark E210 (also
Samsung-built but not accepting a Samsung cart, and costing $95-100) or a
re-fill kit with compIete instructions for avoiding the imfamous Laxmark
anti-refill chip I might be more intererested.

I am glad that you got the coupon, but the $59.99 price requires no
coupon, so for those that can't wait or need more than one, we have
them. So if you need one in the future and don't have a coupon handy,
we will still be here.

Regarding the refill kit, the Samsung kit can be used with the Lexmark
cartridge, This particular cartridges has no chip, but does have some
internal component differences, which is why we list replacement
components under the Lexmark version of the refill kit but not the
Samsung. The cartridges are physically different and can not be made
interchangeable(at least for now).

You see! Read this. He will still be there to hawk you merchandise.
What does a coupon have to do with information unless someone is trying
to sell you something.

Regarding the refill kit, the Samsung kit

I'm interested in refilling a Samsung ML-1740, but would like to see
what's involved first. I checked your site to see if there was a .pdf
refill manual on-line, but didn't see one. I notice one comes with the
refill kit. Is there a possibility of getting a copy of the manual put
on your web site?

Do you really think I would particpate in this NG at all if I didn't
"hawk the wares". You have pay me to put with little s**ts like you, I
certainly won't do it for free.

Sorry, not every post is going to be about some "deep dark printer
secret". This is an unmoderated public forum, I should know I
maintained the FAQ for this NG for 5 years. I stopped maintaining
because I wasn't paid, it took up too much of my time, and no one else
would volunteer to help.

So go blow it out of your a**, flamer.
