same message download in pop mail after importing from exchange

Hi i am having problem downloading a new mail outside from the exchange
server after i create a pop mail in my laptop. However, I also done some
importing the files to my outlook and leave message in my server. But the
server wont regonize the previous message i import and it wont stop
downloading the previous mail from the starting date all the time. Is there
any way to download the message where my outlook last message stop>?

Version of outlook? Version of Exchange? Why are you popping from Exchange?

Outlook saves the downloaded message IDs in a hidden file after it finishes
downloading. if anything interrupts the download (noisy phone line etc) it
won't update the file and will keep downloading it.

Hi, but i tried to export (ost2pst) and import it to the laptop as i want to
used both to check my mail. If thats the reason if the ID interrupts than i
have to start download everything all over again?

yes, exporting doesn't mark them as downloaded, so you'll get dupes. once
all are downloaded it should only download new messages.
