Hi all,

We have two offices in different cities. one office has a NT4 domain called
"abc", the other office has an win2k AD domain called "abc.com".

Initially there is no WAN link, no domain trust, everything is fine.

Now we are going to setup a WAN link, what would happen in a WAN with 2 such
domain names? how do we solve the problem.

Our ex- in charge person did not plan for such setup, now the headache is
passed to me.

Thanks
Frank

Nothing you have said so far will cause a conflict. What is the netbios name
of abc.com?

Matthew,

The netbios name of abc.com is called "abc", can i change that to something
else to avoid conflict?

Thanks
Frank

Dang spell check. That was supposed to say domains 'to', not 200.
