sales receipts

I am setting up a sales receipt system for my charity and have found an
on-line one which is suitable but it has the $ sign instead of the £ sign can
I change it and if so how?

Easy.

Select the cells with the
$
and Format > Cells... > Number > Currency

and pick the symbol of your choice.
