Got|Apex have a review on one hell of a system... a 17" screen laptop, that would beat most Desktop PC systems!

With a nice, widescreen 17 inch WXGA LCD and a Pentium 4 3.06ghz processor, dorm life might not be such a pain in the butt. Through in a Radeon 9000 and built in wireless connectivity, and you have a machine that may not be as mobile or battery friendly as a Centrino based system, but it will handle everything from movie watching to the occasion "study break" game. With 4 speakers and a subwoofer built in, you could even on occasion jam out. With the built in Web Cam, you could even prove to your parents that indeed, your dorm appears riot free.

I was interested in this but I am having trouble locating a reseller in the UK/Ireland but then I came across this:

SAGER NP 9860s

Recieved sager np9860 the last day, wow!!!
17inch glossy wide screen, with integ camera, 2gig ram, p4 ex 3.6ghz, nvidia g force go 6800, 2 60gb 7200rpm hard drives, and heaps of equipment.
Almost 1500euros cheaper than Alienware 51 7700, and heaps faster at running games, graphic progs, etc
