Safetly Remove Hardware

Hi can someone help me! how do i find the icon that normaly sits at the
bottom right hand side which allows you to click on it to remove your
external hardware, some times it is there other times it just dissapears, how
do i find it .

To restore the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon:

Click Start, Run, then type:

RUNDLL32.EXE SHELL32.DLL,Control_RunDLL HOTPLUG.DLL

Click OK.
