safe mode

every time i turn my computer on the safe mode screen
appears hit enter on any of the options
safe mode / safe with networking /start windows
normally nothing happens after just black screen
when i clicked on start normally looks like it going to
start with black xp screen with little green bar
underneath then nothing


please help

there is possibly a software conflict of somesort going
on. In safe mode go to start>>run and type in "msconfig"
a window should come up with a load of tabs, some of
which have the "*.ini" extension. click on the startup
tab and then on the "disable all" tab near the bottom.
this should uncheck all the boxes. Now try restarting
normally.
