microsoft XP home user

All of a sudden, everytime I boot and login (no matter
what user I am) a folder in the System32 directory gets
created:

..../Microsoft/Protect/S-1-5-18/Users

Have good virus scanner, firewall, spyware scanner
all is clean

S-1-5-18 is the Security Identifier for OS
NT AUTHORITY

Any idea why this won't go away? Can't find a thing
about this problem.

Thanks all.

That SID identifies SYSTEM. Let it do what it wants. There is no problem.
