Runtime questions

My application has front end developed in Access 2002 and backend as SQL
server 2003. The application will be used by about 40-50 users. Some of them
have access installed on their computer and some of them have dont and
version of installed access are also different. I need help to understand
different version of access and their behaviours.

1. What access product I need to create runtime package? I dont find any
developer version for access 2002 is there any other name?

2. If user installed runtime package and if they have different version of
access, would it be any problem?

3. If users are running access application other than my application and on
different version of access, should all application work OK?

4. What are the access versions of 2000, 2002 and 2003 (e.g. standard,
developer, etc...)

It will be helpful if someone can explain me.

Thanks.

1. I believe it was called Office XP Developer's Edition. Access 2002 is
part of the Office XP suite.

2. In theory, no, but I've heard of instances...

3. If users are running Access 2003 (whether or not they have other mdb's),
and you distribute an Access 2002 mdb file, it should work fine. Otherwise,
i wouldn't make any bets.

4. You can look up the various Access versions on the Microsoft website.
