Runtime Error

S

Steve

Can somebody please help? I am not very technical and as
such have asked everyone and tried everything to get rid
of this message which appears, twice in rapid succession,
everytime I go onto hotmail. I have tried downloading and
installing the latest IE6 and service pack. The message
appears as follows:

"A Runtime Error has occured.
Do you wish to debug?

Line 7
Error: Object expected"

Any suggestions (non technical) to solve this annoying
problem which just started a few days ago, for no
apparent reason, will be much appreciated.

Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"

Microsoft's Scripting download
Get the latest. Two download versions are available for Windows Script 5.6.
The first version requires Windows 2000, XP; the second version requires
Microsoft Windows 98, Millenium Edition (Me), or NT 4.0. Choose the download
appropriate for your operating system.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
