runtime error!

I recieved everytime open internet explorer 6 sp1 (all
updates) the following message

Runtime Error!
Program: c:\Program Files\InternetExplorer\iexplore.exe
abnormal program termination

How can i resolve the program.

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
