runtime error

When opening a webpage, not all, i receives an error message saying that a
runtime error has occured, do i wish to debug, then the error, line number,
and message saying object was expected.
i am completely up to date with windows updates and have sp1a, the only
mention i have seen of runtime is associated with directx9a, but i doubt if
there is a problem there. is there some kind of tool to switch off the debug
thing.

no worries, looks like disable script debugging in ie setting has done the
trick.
