runtime error

the following error pops up usually when i log onto i won website:
microsoft visual c ++ runtime library
runtime error!
program:c:\program files\
internet explorer\iexplore.
exe abnormal
program termination

no one has helped for 3-4 weeks!frustrated!!
 
Runtime errors usually deal with memory,ram and virtual.Increase ram should
take care of it,512mb is about the min for xp,if thats ok,R.click my
computer,
properties,advanced,settings,virtual memory,settings,change button,set C:
drive to:let windows manage,then click set 2X,close-out,restart computer.
