runtime error

Just recently insatalled Office XP 2000. Then I went
looking for patches and such on the Microsoft web site.
I now get lots of messages that read "A run time error
has occured. Do you wish to debug?" Then a "Line#" And
another line that sometimes reads "Error permission
denied" Help! This is driving me nutzzzz!

open Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet
Options>Advanced>Uncheck the following boxes with dialogs:-
1]Disable script bugging
2]Display a notification about every script error
3]click ok.
