runtime error

When I attempt to transcribe a message from my Sony ICD voice recorder to my
Dragon Voice Recog on the hard drive I get the following message:

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\SONY\Digital Voice Editor 2\ICDntlk.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in anunusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I've tried reinstalling the Sony software already.
