Help!!

When I try to start Internet Explorer, I get the following message:

Runtime Error
Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\ieexplorer.exe
The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Anyone know how to fix this??

This has lately been caused by the Google toolbar. Uninstall it.

Runtime Library Microsoft Visual C++, Runtime Error Program
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe or Iexplore.exe, abnormal program termination.

or

also make sure you don't have both the Sun JRE and the Microsoft VM JIT
compiler enabled.
If none of that helps, try uninstalling the Google toolbar.

I had this problem on my laptop. While trying to work through it today I
found this post. My Google toolbar version on my laptop was in the twos (2
something) the update worked on my PC and I had Google toolbar version
3.0.125. The runtime error did not occur. I have downloaded the newest
version of the Google toolbar 3.0.126 on my laptop and reinstalled the last
8 updates. The browser works just fine. So update Google Toolbar then
install the latest updates and the browser should work.
Thanks Frank for pointing me towards Google for the problem
