runtime error

Hi, whenever I turn my computer on I get a message saying runtime error
48 file not found: psapi.dll and then the desktop theme doesn't appear
and there's just a white background. I am at a loss at what to do. Any
help would be great. Many thanks in advance!

What is the title of the message box that delivers this message -- that
might give some clue about what program is generating the error.

Also, do you still get the error if you boot into safe mode?
