Runtime error messages in Windows 2000

Hello, I was hoping to get some assistance on a couple of Program Files that
are either missing or corrupt. When I try to start Windows, there are 2
error messages that appear. Thus, preventing me from using Windows. The
messages are as follows:

Runtime error on the programs:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\CME11\CMESYS.EXE
C:\Program Files\Common Files\GMT\GMT.EXE

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Thank you.

You can probably use Windows anyway - if not then please
state exactly what happens.

The files you mention are not part of Windows. They are
either part of an application, or they are some spyware.
If they are part of an application then you should uninstall
it via the Control Panel. If not then you should download
and run AdAware to get rid of your spyware. It's free!

Thank you Pegasus, I will try your suggestion. If I cannot even get to
Windows, I'll write down exactly what happens. Thanks again,
Anne
