microsoft visual c++ runtime library, x runtime error!,
program: c:\program files\microsoft
intellipoint\point32exe, abnormal program termination
I received this message a few times and am having trouble
getting software in my machine can find hardware and
driver in device manager, add remove programs show
software installed but at pc pitstop software no longer is
detected can not get complete function out of mouse
either.I am wondering if there is a service I shut down in
services\ computer management that I need to turn back on.
Tried to turn universal plug + play device host back on
but will not start error code 1068. I would be thankful
for any insight you could provide as to the cause of this
problem. Thanks.

Try reinstalling your mouse driver software.

Uninstall it first, if you can.

Thanks I was able to uninstall driver but when I
connected a backup mouse to be able to run things it
picked up the new driver because software was still
installed so I uninstalled software at add remove then was
able to get rid of new driver advanced searched and
removed all intellimouse and point 32 files reinstalled
software and unfortunately am right back where I started.
Do you think it could be a service problem. Thanks for
trying John.

Hi!
you have to reinstall the mouse driver. But before that
you uninstall the exsisting one.Best way to solve is to
download JV Power tools, which will also clean up the
junk registry. Now after complete removal you install the
intellipoint mouse driver and lastly don't forget to
update the driver.
