When I startup my Windows XP Pro I get a "Runtime Error 5 at 00404F34" message a few seconds after I am in winodws. and also "MY Documents" window opens. After I close them both everything is fine. I can't tell it ever happened, but it is happening everytime at startup. What can I do to fix this

Thank
Mark

Hi Mark,

Isolate the cause, then you can address it. This should help:

Thanks, Rick "Nutcase" Rogers

I was able to search though each one and I found that I had sxchost.exe running, I looked it up and found that it was a virese and so I deleted it from the registery and, all is ok now.

Thanks again
