Runtime error 50290

In one particular workbook, whenever I try to edit a formula using Excel 2002 SP2 I get:


Run-time error '50290':
Method 'EnableEvents' of object '_Application' failed

I can edit it with Excel 2000 without problems.

.... and you also posted your question in the wrong newsgroup. This
newsgroup is for Microsoft Access, a database application.

Suggest re-posting in an appropriate newsgroup for Excel.
