Running other programs during slide show

I have a laptop with a seperate monitor. At trade shows I want to run the
slide show on the seperate monitor and be able to enter orders on the laptop
while the slide show continues to run.

Is this possible?

the slide show on a monitor while you work on another monitor.

Is there a cheaper solution? Powershow single lic is $100. A little steep for
a add-in. If all else fails I guess I need to re-evaluate my situation to see
if it's worth $100 bucks to me.

If your presentations can run with the free PowerPoint Viewer 2003 (i.e. the
presentations don't need to run macros, etc.) then you might want to look at
PowerViewer at http://officeone.mvps.org/powerviewer/powerviewer.html - it
allows you to run the slide show on any monitor using PowerPoint Viewer
2003.

Against the price of a second laptop to enter orders on, it doesn't seem so bad.
