Hello:

There has always been a lot of churn on this issue in the newsgroups.

With Windows XP Embedded, you are licensed to run a *single* line-of-business application locally on your device. If you require more than one application to run locally, you must have these apps hosted on a Windows 2000/Windows 2003 Server and purchase client-access licenses (CALs) (as the case may be).

There are exceptions to this rule, based on how your system is architected.

Consult your distributor for more details.

Thanks,
Ravi, MS

Does this mean I could run outlook on the local XPe machine and then have
the rest of office on a Windows Terminal Server and RDP into it?
