running logon script as administrator

Is there a way to run a logon script for a member of Users
as an Administrator on an XP machine? I need to make some
specific registry changes in the Policy key, but it tells
me "access denied" since the script is being run as a user.

Not really, at least not without opening a can of worms if the
user is the type to explore.

Did you try using a startup script ?
