Running IIS locally

I have loaded IIS on my machine. When I run an ASP.NEt
application non of my object show up in the browser.
specifically any drop down boxes or data lists.
Is there a setting in IIS that I need to change?

You need to repair your IIS mappings.
To do this, run the following command:
aspnet_regiis.exe -i
