Is it possibe to run a database on a pc without msaccess installed?
Is it possible to get the database to be a "exe" file? (convert it to a
executible file)
Have a database created in msaccsess 2000 which it had be nice to get to run
on maschines without office installed.

Hi Sigmundsen - No, you will need either the full version or what I call the
Runtime package. The Runtime is cheaper, does not have all the bells and
whistles. You then create a .mde file from the full version to run on the PC.

The license needed in order to deploy the runtime version is included with
the Access developer tools, which must be purchased separately from or in
addtion to Access/Office. The tools are obtained differently depending on
which version of Access/Office you have.

Look for posts on "runtime" and you will find lots of posts with links to
how to purchase.
