running a PocketPC application on emulator

I've been working for the last few month at a CF application using VS
2005 Beta2. Now I've installed the final product and when I try to run
the application I get an error like:
"The operation could not be completed. The device is not connected."
I tryed different types of emulators, the real device, difference
settings for the emulator but I wasn't able to find out what is going
on. If I create a new project it runs smooth whithout errors?
Can anyone tell me what shall I do ?

Do you have a network card on that PC? Do you have an IP assigned to it?
I had similar problem when I tried to run emulator on PC without network
interface.
Another thing do you have a firewall running on that PC?

Yes, I have a network card attached to the pc and also I have the
firewall disabled. Other projects with the same settings work instantly
but only this one give me headaches.Weird!
