Running 12 Month Total

I posted this to the General Questions earlier but I am afraid no anwer is
forthcoming. So I will repost it here.

I have a report that is grouped by year and tracs emissions, each month the
amount of the emission is entered, the coumns are summed by year. I got all
that, what I need is a running 12 month sum. So for 2001 (the year the data
starts), I would want the running total field to be blank, then starting in
January of 2002, I would want the running total for all of 2001, then
February would be the running total from the previous 12 months and so on. I
know this will probably require some serious VBA coding I just can't get my
pea-brain around it.

quick response, considering that we're all unpaid volunteers. Would
