I get a rundll32.exe error (rundll32.exe has generated
errors and will be closed by windows) when I go into
Display Properties and try to choose a different
background image.

I tried replacing the rundll32.exe file with the one on my
install CD and then rebooting and get the same problem. I
also tried removing all extra pictures in My Pictures
folder to see if they were causing a problem and I still
got the error message. I then tried to reboot and load
Last Known Good Configuration and that didn't help either.
Next I tried in safe mode and was able to click on other
images with no errors, but I don't know what to try from
there.

Any suggestions please let me know!

I guess I could have mentioned that after I noticed the
problem I upgraded to IE6 and the problem is still there,
but thanks for the reply.
