I get an error at bootup. It reads as follows.
Error Loading
C:\windows\image.dll
The specific module could not be found.

Please advise on how to correct this as well as your best guess on how to
prevent it from happening.

Thanks in advance D Luzio.

Hello David.

Image.dll is a virus and it's a good thing that it can't be found. Now
you just need to get rid of the call for that module.

See mention of image.dll here under "technical details":
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.iefeats.html

I'm experiencing the same problem but with a different rundll module
that no longer exists. I'll post again if I can solve the problem.

Hi again David.

You can delete the call for image.dll (which is a virus) by going into
the registry and finding all references to image.dll and deleting
them.

Registy Editor: start->run, type "regedit" (no quotes)

You find all references to image.dll by using Edit-> Find, located at
the top left of the Registry Editor.

Always backup the lowest level folder in which the reference to
image.dll is in by right clicking on the folder and exporting
it(making a copy of it). Then go into the folder and on the right
panel delete the entries that refer to image.dll

Find next reference etc until you have cleaned the registry of all
references to image.dll

(This worked for me, but remember to make backups as mentioned.)
