I run XP Home, use McAfee Virus & also have used Stinger. I started getting a
RUNDLL error box that states as follows:" Error loading c:\Program Files\Wild
Tangent\apps\CDA\cdaengine0400.dll The specified module could not be found".
I cannot be certain but it occurs to me I started seeing this about the same
time my task manager became disabled by my administrator. That would be me &
I didn't do it, that I know of. I've run scan disk, scanned for viruses with
McAfee & Stinger. I can't find anything that on the net to fix either issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards, Jim

You can try the following:

First, run Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and, if it's
listed, uninstall Wild Tangent (or WT)

Next, go to Start -> Run and type msconfig in the Open box. Click
OK.
In the System Configuration utility, click on the Startup tab.
Look for an entry for that dll. See if there's any mention of
Wild Tangent.
Remove the check mark next to it.
Click OK and hit the button to restart your computer.
When your PC restarts you'll see a box informing you that your
machine is now running in Diagnostic mode. Put a check mark in
the box so that you don't see the warning again and click OK.

If that doesn't fix your problem, take a look at this article:

Nepatsfan,
Thanks for the help! I got rid of the error box & everything seems fine. I
am still unable to get my task manager to work for me. Any direction you can
offer to get that back up would be equally appreciated. Thanks again!
