Its my second time around the block,I still cant get rid of
the error message, tried to remome AdAware, but no luck,
Any idea
When I boot I get this Bridge.dll error message
Running XP Pro.
I just close box and all looks OK.
I've went back to recover to older date, but no change.
Am I missing the Bridge.dll file or is it cuttupted If so
are there solutions.

Many thanks,

If the message is something like "cann't find Bridge.dll" then it sounds
like you have deleted the Bridge.dll file ok. Most likely something in the
registry/startup is still looking for it - hence the error message.

Try following the removal instructions (or just those for deleting registry
entries) on this page...

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.winfavorites.html

If that fails try "HijackThis" from www.spychecker.com and post the log on
one of the many HijackThis forums. DON'T just have HijackThis fix everything
because I believe it sometimes gives "false positives". (eg it suggests
deleting stuff that is in fact ok/necessary.)

That's because it is OK as your not loading the nasty ware anymore and
your anti-virus, anti-spyware programs have done its' job. Now all you
have to do is find the call in the registry to that no longer existing
nasty file and delete key(s) that are calling for it.
