RunCommand Opendatabase

I'm trying to not have to exit Access and RunApp MSAccess. So, I found this RunCommand Opendatabase. I can't seem to get it to work at all. If I close the database I'm working on, the macro is halted, kaput. But if I don't close it and run the RunCommand action, I get "OpenDatabase isn't available now. You may be in a read-only or unconverted database from a previous verion of Access."

Can someone help me, please?

Thank you!

Access 2000
here is a sample I tested. It opens a second access app.
Watch out for word wrap.
In a Macro
Action RunApp
Command line Accessapplicationname accessdb
sample
Command Line c:\program files\microsoft
office\office\msaccess.exe "c:\my documents\test1.mdb"

I found that your suggestion workds. However, I'd like to use the Opendatabase, so I don't have to reopen another iteration of MSAccess. If a user can't effectively opendatabase, since Access will only open one at a time per application opened, what other uses are there for the command

Thanks
