run-time error

hi rusty! to do this you need to open regedit. it sounds
like a problem with the way the cpu is handling
instructions. go to run and type "regedit" then go to my
computer>HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft. right click
on microsoft and hit delete then restart and it wont send
run time commands to the cpu to generate class a errors

-----Original Message-----
when i start my computer before doing anything i get a
run-time error '35761': Request Timed out and a ok box.
i've been clicking ok but i'd like to prevent it from
coming up everytime. how do i get rid of this pest.

hi kim, i clicked on start, clicked on run, typed in regedit & clicked ok, brought up my computer - clicked on HKY_CURRENT_USER, cliicked on Software, clicked on Microsoft, right clicked on Microsoft Management and clicked on delete. was this right? i was afraid to click delete on just Microsoft, i thought it would delete all the files. i restarted my computer and the error still came back.
