run time error

i keep getting a message which says "a run time error has
appeared.do you wish to debug .line 1 error:invalid
character". debugging does not help.Have down loaded all
patches i can find

Hi

This error has nothing to do with Windows. This is the cause of a third party application installed on your pc. If you observe carefully let us know what application you are using to get this error.
