I re-installed a program that I had previously installed
on this Dell Computer.

Prior to the re-install, I did a complete uninstall, then
manually deleted the folder, then deleted everything in
the recycle bin. Shut the computer down, re-started and
installed the program. This time when I click on the
icon, I get the run-time error 76 Path not found.

How do I fix this problem?

Desparetly waiting.

Hi!Rudy!
suggestion:-
Uninstall the program.Using JV Power tool/regcleaner remove from the
junk registry also.Now reinstall.

This is probably a fault with the program installation file.

Have a look at the properties of the icon and see where it is pointing at.
If necessary do a browse to the program file and rebuild the shortcut.
