Run Time 429. ActiveX component can't create object

Guest

Whenever I log into Windows 2000 I get the message "Runtime '429'. ActiveX
Component Can't Create Object". I click OK and the message disappears.

Any ideas why this message is popping up? Do I need to download Windows
Script for 2000?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Dave,
I'm helping a user with this error. I had them download the script file,
but the error is still popping up when they log in. Should I edit the
Registry? Does the ActiveX feature need to be installed/reinstalled? Is
this something a Windows update would fix?

Thanks,

Wes

There are many possible causes for the 429 error. I'd get in touch with the
application developer.
