Run PPt Slideshow and data input on an Access Form simutaneously

I use a Dell Lattitude C640 Laptop with a second LCD Monitor (Samsung 19â€),
which runs as an extended desktop. I run Windows XP SP2 and MS Office 2007.
I am trying to run PowerPoint and Access at the same time. I open PowerPoint
and drag the window to the second monitor and run a slide show. The slide
show is set to run automatically and loop without presenter input (i.e. mouse
clicks). The slide show runs fine. Now when I open an Access Form in the
laptop’s display and input data into the Form, the slide show on the other
monitor stops advancing (stalls). Probably because now the curser is in an
input field on the Access Form. When I click the mouse again on the slide
show monitor, the slide show resumes. My question is, How can I avoid
stalling the PowerPoint slide show when inputting data on the Access Form?
I would like to use this setup for trade shows and avoid having to buy
another laptop.
Thank you,
Ken Schneider

Try Slide Show > Set Up Show.
Under Show Type, set it to "Browsed by an individual (Window)".
This will allow the slide show to continue running when you are navigating
outside of the slide show.
